Stairwell access?

I have a half landing off which lead a toilet and bathroom. It is irregularly shaped but hardly 1000mm square clearance available.

But there is a problem with the ceiling and above that I need to address.

Can anyone suggest some kind of mini access tower up to 2m in height?

I used to have some 1 1/4" steel tube and fixings which used a 5 mm allen key. It was stolen but would be an ideal material to make some mini scaffolding if only I could buy some second hand. But there does not seem to be a common name for it so searching on Ebay is virtually impossible.

I used to have a good selection of the tube and fittings which would have been perfect but unfortunately it was stolen.

It looks like a very expensive option to have to buy it new again but maybe that is my only option.
