Thats about as daft as an experience I had when enquiring about the cost of replacement tyres.
I parked in the disabled bay, no problem but I noticed a couple of large letters in white whilst everything else was in yellow as you`d expect.
Slightly amused whe I asked what H F meant.
Reply "Halfords" well yes I already knew the brand of National Tyres is owned by Halfords but it is Halfords not Hal Fords, so an Aitch on its own of the full HALFORDS would have been more relavent not H F.
The mind boggles.
Mind you, I visited a home today and noticed an empty flat for rent apparently.
the sign in large letters on the inside of the window read "TOO LET".
Again I wonder!
Mind you how many people pronounce "Aitch" as "Haitch" these days? we got clobbered at School for such missdeeds.
