Hello all, i'm sure this has been covered before but i am struggling to lay my hands on it. My client would like a front proch (requires planning) and a side extension (also requires planning), she is not sure whether they will be both done at the same time due to budget. My question is... if she starts (and finishes) the porch within three years af approval, can she claim the planning permission remains active until she decides to do the side? Or is each element required to be started before the expiration of three years?

Thanks

Eddy

The permission is enacted once any part of the work is [significantly] started

So, if 10 things were on the same application/permission, then once one is started then that enacts the permission for the other nine
