Steam mop

Due to the power of advertising, I bought a Poltti steam cleaner years ago - it has a head somewhat similar to that one, and various mops fit over it....the steam comes through the mop and onto the surface to be cleaned.
A more useless tool I have yet to find......clears the gunk out of grout? No. Cleans the grease from cooker hobs? No. Can remove varnish from cupboard trims? Yes......
It has some uses - carpet cleaning etc to some degree but if you could borrow one to try first?
To answer your main question, the tiles will be unharmed.
John :)

assuming they are ceramic or porcelain then they are fine. but prev poster is right they are rubbish. she'd be better off with a good microfiber, hot water and a good cleaner.

if they are natural stone, stay away
