I have a Stelrad IdealW gas boiler 25 years old, annually serviced. It is going to be replaced in the Spring. It has started making a chattering noise - like a the noise of a small steam train speeded up. It is in the kitchen and the noise is disconcerting is there anything that can be done until the new boiler is fitted.
