step son plumbing

H

hav it

Hi All

My stepson got a letter today saying that he wont be accepted into collage fulltime for plumbing and heating. It goes on to say that only 16 places are available and they had 200 students apply. He done his work placement with me at work, and my boss said that if he got into collage on the course they would offer him an apprenticeship. :(

make an approx to the the actual department tutor and explain the situation
tell them he is prepaired to start late when someone drops out and make up the time

the fact he has a job lined up may just swing it as most dont !!!!!!

Thats a good point, even if i can get him on a reserve list??

if your step son can be guaranteed a job working with a plumber, then he doesn't need to do a full time plumbing course. He will need to do a part time (usually 1 day a week) course. My course lasted 4 years, and I still need to complete my CORGI.

Get him, or the employer to approach an training provider company. JTL were ok for me.

Give them a ring, and see what they can do.

Hope that helps.
