I'm insulating an external wall on the inside and got to the bit round the window. I've knocked the plaster off to allow 25mm Kingspan inside the reveal but ended up knocking bits of breeze block off with it.
I've built it back up again with sand and cement mortar then rendered it flat with the same stuff ready for the Kingspan to go on.
A thought has just occurred to me, do I need to wait before sticking the Kingspan on? Wasn't sure if it was the same as plaster, where it needs a couple of weeks to properly dry out even if it appears to be dry.
If it makes any difference I was just going to use 'sticks like' to attach the Kingspan
