ours wanted a 4 year deal but RMT refused then it went down to 3 then 2 now bloody stalemate. they also wanted a no strike deal with it which isnt acceptable

Which will all come in one payday, and be classed as a single tax year, so you will get hammered by the taxman.

Sure youll get back pay and the pay rise won't run from when agreed? This happened at my old firm with management getting out of paying one years pay rise by falstalling negotiations, when questioned about back pay they were adamant that there would be none and all we would get was the new pay rise from the negotiated day.

good news  we are getting back pay next month, god they would not even think about witholding it. London would grind to a halt
