Err - they were born here and chose to spend the winter in south africa, returning here in the spring to raise a family. - these be british swallows.
Immigrants coming to Britain just to have their kids.

Do they have another brood in South Africa where it will be Summer?
Lots of swifts here year round - not the type you get in Britain.
Not sure how often they breed but the seagulls have one brood after another all year.

No, they just fly about and eat flies, Tens of million of them from all over Europe and Russia make their way to South Africa and Southern Nambia for a giant get-together. Then around the end of Feb they all make their way back to where they were born.

I found this I migrant in my garden with a few friends. He and his friends have been deported.
I don't kill spiders, but I'd make an exception for that evil - looking thing.

I Didnt kill them just deported. They are related to the Redback we had them in our garage in QLD I didn't want to but had to kill them as my Dog would chew anything.
