First let me tell you i am a total layman at this. i'm just looking for the best plan of action.
I have a storage heater and the thermostat keeps blowing. I've had the spur replaced and still no luck. Also replaced everything but the bricks. Heater isn't very old about 3years.
What next?
Is it a new heater?

Cheers

When you say " the thermostat keeps blowing" do you mean the resetable one keeps tripping & has to be reset? If so & you are not drying or airing clothes etc. on top of the heater, then it may just need a new stat.

Thanks for your reply..... the thermostat is not resetable but i have replaced the thermostat & safety cutouts. I have in the past replaced internal wiring because the surrounding plastic had become 'crumbly'. It has happened again.....it even effected the spur so that I couldn't switch the isolating switch off but the fuse didn't blow. It is a Dimplex heater and driving me up the wall......any ideas please would be appreciated.
