Would like to demolish all of what you see in the picture.Want to use 2 x 150 mm timber posts in the front.
The width is 2.7 metre and span is 1.4 metre.What size joists and rafters would be sufficient for this job.Am i correct in assuming if I am using timber posts with a top plate for the rafters to sit,then no gallow brackets are required.
If they are required how does on work out what size they should be.
Would like to cover the gap on the left of picture as it floods the porch when it rains.The guttering rain water pipe has been moved.
