Hi,

On straght edge worktops (rather than bull nose) do you need a special join on worktop? can you just but them up?

other than design is there any pros on con when buying a bull nose vs straght edge laminate?

do you need a special join on worktop?
Usually you would mitre them with a jig & router. With square edge, the jig is normally used with a 10 mm setting ( rather than 20+ mm)

can you just but them up?
Possible but you would still need to clean the edge up after removing the edging and adhesive (and you are assuming that the worktops will meet at 90°)

Pros and cons - aesthetics , bullnose seems to be less prone to edge damage then square edge
