Watched the documentary about him a few years back. He likes to think he's working class but he's not like any working class people I grew up with. His family were union people who were generally despised where I grew up because they drove around in cars and were the first people to paint their front doors. Both far beyond the reach of most working people. In the documentary they showed cine film of him in his top hat and tails at his wedding. Cine film - top hat and tails! In those days most people could barely stretch to a roll of 12 black and white once a year at Butlins.
