Strength of a wall

Chaps,

I am planning to put on a wall an electric water heater (50L means full of water will weigh about 100 Kg).

How can I check if the wall is strong enough?
If not what can I do?

PS

I live in a ca. 25 years old council flat top floor and walls are made with grey blocks that I think you call in UK lightweight bricks
