Hi, I've a 3 year old Stuart Turner Negative Head Single Shower pump (hot water only).
Recently I've had to turn off and isolate the pump to remove connections to a balancing valve in the bath.
Since reconnecting, the pump is not coming on straight away when you open a tap (upstairs or downstairs). Water comes out but dies down for the first 2 seconds, then it turns normal with good pressure.
Would it be that the Expansion vessel has low pressure? Should I re-pressurise the vessel to 0.9 bar?
Over the last few months the pump had been coming ON on its own for 2-3 seconds withut any taps opening once a day or so.
Please advise if there should be anything obvious here.
Thanks.
This link is for 2.0 bar but I think mine is 1.3 bar only.
