I have been getting wood lice in my house. I appreciate they are harmless and do not cause damage to house.

I noticed a gap between the stucco and the bricks at the bottom of the house - this could be a potential entry point for insects.

Should there be a gap? If not, what should I fill it up with?

Please see photos attached.

Thanks

dont fill that it will bridge the damp proofing

If your house is cavity construction woodlice are unlikely to be getting in there

woodlice are attracted towards damp areas, they are often to be found in any gaps under skirting or in corners -they are totally harmless

Personally I find silverfish more irritating
