Stuck bedroom window

Hi all,

I have a upvc window in the house which is stuck shut. I have taken the handle off and the spindle is engaged, but it seems that it is not releasing the dead bolt from the frame.

I had a look on YouTube and it suggests using a Allen key to push the bolt free but no success to date.

Any one else managed to free a window stuck closed and what did you use?
