Stud wall

I need a 7ft x 7ft stud wall erected and plasterboard attached in my living room. A builder quoted £500 to do this for me but I feel this is a bit much. Can anyone give advice as to if this is reasonable and how long it should take to do this ?

£300 if its stud and plasterboard both sides.

£500 if its to be skimmed as well.

if its a handyman pal £200 exc materials, and a night on the tiles
