I am going to be tiling in my kitchen if i ever get round to finishing it..

I have already gotten the tiles for above the counter but am thinking about trying something with the grout...

I want to mix glitter in with it so that it will sparkle.. the tiles are black with little silver glitter bits on them..

any ideas?

When I want to try something new, I do a test.

Cut a tile into quarters (preferably taking a damaged one from the batch), stick them to a piece of 12mm plywood, with the correct gaps, to simulate four tiles, wait for the adhesive to go off, then grout.

If you do this using your proposed materials then you'll get a good idea of how it will look, and whether or not there'll be any technical problems in doing it.

Sparkly/glitter grout is available, I will post a link later

How about hundreds of small LED,s linked and set so you wipe the grout off the top of the lens.......
