Yet another stupid question from an extremely novice tiler lol. I have done a lot of tiling lately as I have moved house and I have the most ridiculous question that you lot will take the mick out of.

Whenever I grout for some reason no matter what grout I use or how careful I try to be the next day I always have a row of little like airholes in all my grout lines. What the hell am I doing wrong ?? I have even had a friend have a go but the next day the tiny little holes were there again.

Yeah you often get that with pre-mixed grout or that God-awful grout in an aerosol  What grout did you use?

It sounds like you are using too much water to wash the grout off, or you are mixing the grout up to a consistency which is too thin. It should be similar to toothpaste or peanut butter. When it comes to washing off, you should use a good grouting sponge and make sure you really ring it out so that it is just damp.

I use these Super Hydro sponges:

Too much water = lots of bubbles.

In regards to what grout to use, I find that BAL stuff is very good. I have also used Mapei and Ardex without any problems.

Yep this is a possibility too if it's a powdered grout. The bubble marks you speak of are usually very small and can normally be rubbed away quite easily.
