Would be interested to know peoples view please on ventilation for suspended floors. Let's say a house has timber suspended floors, but the back section of the house is getting backfilled and changed to solid to tie in with a solid floor extension that is being built. So front room will get ventilated by air bricks at front of house and hallway will get air from side of house. Will the front room sub floor be ok with just ventilation coming from front of the house?

Single sided ventilation isn't ideal, you really want a through air path.
Usual workround is bury 110mm waste pipes in the new concrete linking the old floor and outside.
Have a look in the building control approved docs- it tells you there how much ventilation you need to supply.
