Suggestion for management ...........

For any right thinking person. It actually became a little distressing to see at times where his entire days content could be made up of personal insults and abuse. Doesn't bother me being insulted, I can take it and will carry on taking it, what distressed me was that the visible anger in his posts shone a light on what turmoil he must have been going through personally at the end of the day. He clearly wasn't in a good place.

Brexit / remain, pro Israel / anti Israel, pro terror / anti terror, it's all just opinions and we all differ, that's life.

Same with Trump, I get that a majority on here don't like him, so criticise him of course by all means. But if you can't mention his name without using descriptors like nonce or rapist, you put the future of this site in danger because the Govt you elected aren't keen on free speech, and trust me, social media is being monitored like never before. That's not what Elon and Don (your enemies) want, it's what your elected Govt want.

Lets disagree and insult each other responsibly.
It's ironic that you can't see the abuse meted out to qyuite a few in here, but can see some when it comes back.

As for free speech limitations, it is EXACTLY what Trump Vance and Musk want, even though they tell you not. Free speech means from all views, not just the ones you want to hear.

I personally get insulted and attacked way more than the average in here, but people hate it when it's thrown back at them

It would be a much better idea, to refrain from the insults, especially the childish type that are thrown so often. Do you need a list from who they come ?

UK politics.
UK weather
UK TV
UK gossip
UK cheese appreciation
UK real ale and pubs
UK holidays

It would be good to have all the Russian and US fanboys in their own little corner though, although no doubt they'll still try to interfer with our affairs. And we could also put all immigration (boat chat) in the "international" section too :)
But then where would you post all of your virtue signaling

He is by far the worse, everyone else is tame compared to his. And apart from his standard level of abuse, some of it directly personal he has also posted some right vile stuff that was removed thankfully. He won't be missed.

He's been around a lot of years and I can honestly say he never used to be like that, something changed.

Anybody left of far right is a lefty loony to some.

When you've lost sight of the centre everything becomes so simple

Uk immigration is a classic crossover topic, or brexhit.

Before then, give an example of a serious topic in any part of the world which is discussed seriously here..
It’s a forum not the House of Commons s. That said the debate tends to be between people with strong views either side of the debate. If people swallow right wing propoganda and recycle it as truth it’s going to get serious.

UK politics.

Inextricably linked to politics in other countries, and economic events originating outside the UK, etc.

UK weather

Virtually all of ours is imported.

The UK TV which is criticised for reporting events taking place abroad?

The UK TV which is criticised for not reporting events taking place abroad?

The UK TV which shows imported programmes?

UK gossip

No ta.

UK cheese appreciation

With no compare and contrast with foreign cheeses?

UK real ale and pubs

Again, what of the influence of foreign beers & styles, e.g. NEIPA, or the sadly-too-short-lived foray into lambic beer by the Melbourne Brewery, or the development of UK beers impacted by having an empire?

Hmm.

If a new forum is needed, maybe it should be a RW based area for the 'special ones'...

All the jerk offs in one place ;)
