Hi firstly I hope this is the right place.

Now onto my question I currently have a shelve (nothing fancy just contiboard) where I would like to get lighting beneath it but not too bright as it is right above where my sofas are (I will get a photo uploaded tommorow).

The shelf is about 6 metres long and has 9 L brackets holding it up.

I was looking at running a strip of smd lights on the bottom but feel that is a bit bright so have being looking at buying some warm white leds and put a bulb behind each off the brackets in the corner where they bend round again I will get a photo but want any ideas. And if led can they be connected to a plug with a 3a fuse in it?

You might pick up some cheap (white) christmas lights at this time of year :)

Beware - even "warm" LED lights can be as cold as a Vladivostock fish canning plant on the nightshift.

Traditional incandescent picture lights - or warm fluorescent tubes - hidden behind a vertical wooden strip would be much cosier.
