Hi
I have had a good quality timber log cabin style workshop erected, I have run some alarm cables from my garage for door contacts, sound bomb etc and want some sort of detector to protect it as well , I have 3 windows but don't want shock sensors. I would like advise as to what type of sensor be it pir, microwave or dual tech would be most stable given the environment, heat, windows, possible insects etc. I've looked at sensors on line and there is so many it's a bit of a mind field. Any fitters who have had success with this please advise.
Thanks in advance
Neil

I must agree - it's got to be a dual tech in a shed/garage/outbuilding. Just make sure that you don't have the microwave turned up so high that it'll pick up the cat walking past outside!
