Hi,
New to site and already picked up loads of help/tips from reading other posts--so thank you.
Need some advice. I have started to build a summer house/garden room.Approx 5m x 3.5m.
Made out of 4x2 stud work. Will be plastering inside, and osb3 with breathable membrane, battens and then larch or cedar cladding. Do I have to fill the whole gap between osb and plasterboard (approx100mm) with insulation or can I reduce thickness of insulation to say 60mm?. Will this cause any problems and if reduced insulation is used do I place it nearer/ flush to plasterbord with gap behind to osb, or nearer to osb with gap in front of insulation to plasterboard?
Any advice on best or most suitable insulation would be appreciated
I am not best Diy'er in the world!!!!!
Thanks
