Summit Roofguard

This is a forum for negative and positive feedback. My experience with Summit was excellent and whether I paid £1500 or £5500 it is my business but I would say it was worth every penny because the finished product is all that matters to me and the cost was closer to the bottom figure. I also checked out other companies work but won't name names and that was the reason I chose summit and not other companies who seem to try and rubbish the competition!!!

As long as you happy mate and they did a good job.

I just had a really good experience, 7 years ago they installed new facia, soffit & guttering and if I'm honest, it wasn't up to much.

It took me until now to complain, and without quibble or arguement, they duly came and had a look, admitted it wasn't up to their standards and replaced the lot.

They turned up on time, did a 'proper job' and tidied up. Now I suppose this should be the norm, but it isn't always, and in some instances you can hear the cowboy spurs coming..... If I recall the sales pitch wasn't heavy handed and the price wasn't too bad either.

It was really nice to see a company in this day and age actually deliver up on a promise without a bun fight.

I would genuinely say take a look at these people - they deliver what they say - and when they don't they come and put it right!

Happy days!

Summit Roofguard are pretty huge now so it's inevitable that some bad reviews are gonna get read on here now and then. If only the good reviews got wrote but it never happens. Except above!

We have just gone through a very, very lengthy process with one of the salesmen and although i didn't like the way he was pushy but insisted he wasn't being....... the product looked very good and the price we eventually arrived at seemed fair. We have agreed now but have some days to change our mind. I would like some more encouragement from other customers of Summit Roofguard. Can you help?

I can't comment on their quality of work but this company cold called us over a year ago and my father politely said call us back next year obviously not thinking that they would but they did!! They haven't stopped harassing us since! They call us every couple of weeks and they won't take no for an answer!! They get very rude and aggressive over the phone and will just cut you off if you say no. A quick search of google and you can see that they've been to court a few times for their cowboy level of work!! I wouldn't be surprised to see this company on watchdog! Even their website is awful!

Summit are one of the market leaders in roofline systems and are specialists in this area, unlike their 'Jack of all trades' competitors. Their quality of product and service is excellent and I have found their staff to be friendly and helpful across the board. My son used to work for Everest and rates Summit so highly that he recommended we have the work on our house done by them! So that says it all.

Summit Roofguard and their sister company, Status Glass, were the subject of a four year investigation by Trading Standards resulting in jail sentences for Directors Martin Evans of Crown East Lane, Lower Broadheath, Worcester and Sarah Beadle of Birmingham for aggressive, unfair and misleading commercial practices. Summit Roofguard and Status Glass were liquidated a while ago, but Evans & Beadle continued their operation as directors of Homestyle Clearview, Homestyle Midlands & other companies in the group.
