Sun/Omitec Gas Analysers

Does anyone have experience of these things? There a few old ones going cheap on Fleabay but they all seem to be locked out requiring calibration (I think this is because they can (or could) be used for MOT).

Does anyone know how much calibration costs and how often it has to be done? Can the lock out be removed permenantley? How much does that cost?

No haven't tried that. I haven;t actually bought one yet. Wanted to make sure you can get the MOT bit removed before buying one. Looks like from that link it can be done, even if I have to pay a Sun engineer to come and do it.
