Sunamp

What effect has the iboost(you said you'd bought one) had on your water heating bill.

none whatsoever, because I don't use it to heat the HW.

The cost of heating HW by gas is so low (22p a day) that it's not worthwhile connecting it to the immersion circuit.

In winter I sometimes use it to run an electric heater in the hall, but sunny winter days are not common. I did consider UFH there, but the cost of installation would be much higher than the savings.

I would go so far as to say it is not an economic proposition.

I suppose if you had no gas, and heated by electricity, at four times the price, it might be worthwhile.

what a lot of silly fuss you've made.

If any sensible person was misled by my words, I was of course talking about the savings quoted in the line above.

Information for Hard_Work

Obviously not an Intergas franchise as the logos are different ( but possibly misleading to potential customers for Intergas products )..

The Intergas logo has three flames above the word Intergas

The Mid Wales Plumbing and Heating Supplies Limited ( trading as the Intergas Ship ) logo has a single flame embedded in the "A" of the word Intergas.

I see the resident Numpty has come in. How refreshing. The Sunamp is sold by Intergas in their shop. Numpty thank you for your astute observation.

Bernard they sell Intergas boilers as well. They must think there is a market for it.

Numpty, it says Intergas and they sell Intergas boilers. I saw it. I did.
