can anyone offer me some help on changing a Sunvic TLX 9201 analogue thermostat to a honeywell homexpert THR840DUK digital thermostat, the sunvic is wired up on a s plan plus system, upstairs and downstairs zoned heating via 2 port valves and a 2 port valve controlling the hot water.
current sandvic terminal connections are
Terminal 1 :- BROWN
Terminal 2 :- NOTHING
Terminal 3 :- BLACK WITH BROWN SLEEVE ( assume switched live )
Terminal 4 :- GREY WITH BLUE SLEEVE ( assume natural )
Change to Honeywell and wire as follows :-
Terminal A :- ASSUME BROWN LIVE CORRECT YES OR NO ?
Terminal B :- ASSUME BLACK WITH BROWN SLEEVE SO SWITCHED LIVE CORRECT YES OR NO ?
can someone explain why N is marked on the small drawing inside the back of the case almost indicating that this could be Natural ?
Terminal C :- GOES TO NOTHING CORRECT YES OR NO ?
NATURAL WIRE GREY WITH BLUE SLEEVE IS REDUNDENT AND MADE SAFE CORRECT YES OR NO ?
