I used to like American Football a long time ago it but I find it really boring now.

Too much time wasted and too much of a set piece thing.

Most American sports are boring. Basketball, NASCAR etc. I have said before that there is probably an interesting psychological angle about why they like them.

I don’t mind basketball tbh. We managed to get tickets in 2012 for the all star thing in Orlando. That was a mad place. P Diddy was there and it’s sort of a standing joke in our house now.

Same holiday we had launch day at nasa and a comic con convention type event.

But I agree. In the USA it’s programmed into the population to crave it all.
 
The Pats are always favourites I am told, even without Tom Brady. But to me it’s still like a game of rugby that’s constantly interrupted. And very health and safety conscious

They're first and foremost, vehicles for making as much advertising revenue as possible.
 
I would make a fantastic NFL player, built like a tank and way too good looking for my own good. I would earn a fortune at it even though I dont understand it.

The only bit that is relatively easy to understand is when the quarter back throws the ball forwards to another of his team.

But the rest, where they run the ball instead of throwing it, is all about pre-planned strategies. The two teams line up facing each other and each man on the attacking team tries to push their opponent out of the way to make a hole for their runner guy to go through. But they can't really tackle or hold their opponent. It's a bit like sumo where they explode forward at each other and sort of slap each other in the chest.
