I think farmers should get our support and government support. They look after and feed animals, work in fields all hours in all weathers and produce ingrediants for our food. Pretty important in my books.

Farmers are overwhelmingly torey and mainly Brexit supporters which explains why they put up with its consequences but object to anything Labor do. I’m not generally a supporter of IHT on farms but developing frictionless trade with the EU could only help them.

I fail to see how a farmer sat in his tractor in a field doing tractor stuff has any impact on brexit.

We are away from the EU subsidies now. The farmers need support from our government. They need and deserve it or we will all be growing our own corn and keeping our own cows.

The Torey’s kicked that ball down the street. They did little to address farmers position post brexhit, because it wasn’t a priority or they didn’t care.

I think the gist is IHT is a disgrace. All farmers will do now is slap everything into a LTD.

As a normal person my kids will get a decent amount each. I’m not sure why the government thinks they are entitled to 500k+ for letting me work my arse off and pay taxes on everything.
