support frame for peninsular wall unit

Assuming that the item is made of steel (highly likely), buy the item, cut to the required length using an angle grinder, cut out the end cross brace (the bit which attaches to the wall) from the waste then take the cross brace and shortened frame along to a local mechanic who does welding and get him to weld it back together. Finally respray in the desired colour using a can of car touch-up paint. That way you will get exactly what you want

Hi, thanks for your answer.
unfortunately they are all out of stock!
cant believe that there only appears to be one supplier for these!?
what would be an alternative solution? bolt the two units to each other, one bolted to the wall, and the other just supported by a leg?

At 1100 a frame is not essential, ply top to run and decor panel to base will be enough to keep it rigid , just need a leg.
