I have a problem with a suprima 80. The boiler is failing to make maximun heat. The pump is working fine and the system has no airlocks and is fully bled. The system is switching in and out at very short intervals but is not locking out. The effect of this is that the system heat slowly over a long period of time but never makes full heat. All suggestions will be gratefully received.

Thanks for your reply. I had already purchased a thermistor and a overheat stat and fitted them last evening but they had no effect on the situation. I have found that the boiler runs for only 50 seconds even from cold. It then stands by for around the same time before re-igniting. These time intervals remain constant no matter how much heat the boiler generates. I thought it may be a dry joint on the board acting as a "Thermal Switch". Have you heard of such a situation. Again thanks for your suggestion.

Probably pump or circulation problem.

Could also be greatly over rated gas consumption but would need CORGI engineer to check.
