Hi, I am renting a bungalow with a suspended wooden floor in the bedroom. Since the recent wet weather I have had terrible problems with condensation (wet clothes and bedding). The bungalow is well ventilated (extractor fans in bathroom and kitchen) and heated. I've pulled the carpet up to look for damp and when I bang on the floor it sounds hollow which makes me think that it isn't insulated. The condensation seems to settle on skirting boards too but not on the walls. Would lack of insulation cause this or could it be anything else? There is no problem anywhere else in the house which seems to be mainly concrete slab flooring in most rooms.
