Swapped over one light switch to a new one a two gang the light and fan both work on one switch were the light should be one switch and the fan other

Is it working now how it was before you swapped the switch? It looks to be wired the same

Not sure it matters, but on one you have one to each L2 and the other L11 and L22?

Can you turn off the fan when the light is on?

Swopped them both to L12 and L22 same result even put the old switch on same thing happing I’m thinking it might be the loop between the two com

no only by switching the light switch witch is controlling the light and fan now together

No the original was the fan and light was on a separate switch a two gang switch so I’ve swopped the switch new for old then I’ve even put the old one back on and the same think but the light and fan come on together

Anyway - remove the link wire and tell us what happens.

Does the light or fan work on its own?
