HI CAN THE VALVE BE MANUALLY OVERIDDEN THE H/W IS FINE BUT WHEN HEATING IS SELECTED THE SWITCH KEEPS GOING AROUND IT WILL ONLY BE A TEMPORARY MEASURE AS THE SYSTEM WILL BE UPGRADED IN JANUARY THANKS

As a temp measure put it to heating/hw when valve gets to that position take the head off and then just select hot water and take cylinder stat off.... this will keep HW and heating on ..just turn your boiler stat down a bit so HW coming out taps is not to hot

Thanks for the reply sorry i haven't answered b4 luckily a friend had a spare valve and we changed the blue box all is well now.
