I recently had to replace the wall switch for my washing machine. I took photos of the wiring to make sure i replaced them in the correct places. On the switch there is a small red light to indicate when it is switched on. This red light is on constantly but the power is only on when the switch is activated. Is this something to worry about. thanks

Is it just the live feed and load or all wires

More likely both, but you could get a similar effect if just the phase feed and load were swapped.

With the switch open, it's likely there would be sufficient capacitance to ground in the machine's wiring to keep the neon alight.

Is this dangerous. Should i swap them immediately. Sorry if this is a stupid question!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all of your help very much appreciated.

Just make sure the feed L & N and load L & N are in the correct terminals.

not dangerous, but possibly misleading swap them when you have time.
