So I recently did some work replacing rad valves, replacing 2 x rads with broken bleed valves and used some Fernox F3 for 1 week.
Since then I've drained down completely twice. And run the drain cock open and filling loop open for a while.
The Magnetic filter does have some extra gunk but not that much. The water draining to the drain was more or less sediment free. I guess it is hard to get the velocity to force it out of the 22mm backbone piping below drain cock level.
Anyway. Even after draining twice and flushing, there is a hint of golden colour and slight smell of the cleaner.
Is it ok to ad inhibitor now or more drain downs? Would Sentinel X800 do a lot more in a 24 hour hot cycle?
