System strange behaviour.

Have a pumped system, Bosch conventional boiler, three port valve, room and tank stats.
Couple of days ago the heating started to run on it's own, ignores room stat, switching on hot water turns the heating off but provides no hot water.So currently have unwanted heating running and no hot water, most components are under a year old, tank stats is only item from previous system .

Could it be loose connection somewhere?. Can hear three port valve operating when turning on hot water.

hi foxhole if you look in boiler and c/h FAQs at top of page, in particular q10 and q17 there is a way of checking if your 3 port is the problem, if its not at least you will prove this. you will need a multimeter to do this
