Takes over 90 seconds to get hot water!

Today I was doing a safety check at a house with a Worcester 28i Junior combi boiler.

I timed the kitchen tap which was 3m of pipe away from the boiler and at 12 seconds it was too hot to keep my hand in the hot water.

That was from a cold plate heat exchanger as I had cooled it before starting.

Seeing as its not firing up straight away and works better when heating is on i would imagine the hw diaphragm is shot.

I hope you have had someone out by now who has repaired fault for you

Thanks for your helpful replies , he hasnt been out yet , but i am due to speak to them tonight to arrnage a time and date so the sooner the better , specially as the heating hasnt been on for a while !!
