I have just had a shower refitted but am concerned with some of the work.
The walls are supposed to have been tanked, but holes were cut for the shower pipes, and nothing done to remedy this gap. A quick Google makes me think they should have taped/pipe collared, so the tanking doesn't have two holes in?
Also, there was a late fix to the alcove in the wall, which means this was tanked/tiled and grouted in about 4 hrs. Is this even possible, given that all the products have to go off?
The work was apparently completed on weds but the grout in the alcove is already cracked and gappy.
Any advice gratefully received! I feel like they have bodged the job to finish on time. Should I get them back/ask them to remedy?
