Tanking

About to start tiling. Only from reading this great forum, i have found out about 'tanking'

In my new house i'm installing a shower cubicle, which is going to mounted onto plasterboard walls.

In original house have the same as above which has no tanking, and no leak.

Is there a cheap product out there for tanking. Looked on some sites, 300 quid for a kit!!

Rather have a bath!!!

Also 1 other little question, is there a site for tips on tiling

I have a similar to this one for the last 15 yrs, the best investment I've made and got fed up with tiles, grouts, black moulds etc.

Can't remember how much it was though but I think it was the same price as with tiling with tiles etc.

Showed it to the 'boss'. Does not like it wants tiles Can you recommend a tile adhesive then? Are there good ones and bad ones???
