Hi Expert DIY people! :)
So I have a leaky tap and decided it was time to replace the cartridge which hopefully would solve the issue.

So the tap that i have is very similar to this one

Would that type of cartridge be all right to replace the faulty one?

Thanks,

Glands to fit most taps, not. Try tap magician on ebay, they do a direct replacement.

So, managed to cut the water, and unscrew the little screw but then stuck. Unable to remove the handle completely. They Seems to be stuck.

Is that then a plumber job? Don't want to break the full tap.

Boiling water, poured over the handle, tap the handle with a block of soft wood.

They have tiny 2mm grub screws, can be difficult to remove, especially on the cold tap where scale can build up. I had to remove the whole tap.
