do i need to put any jointing compound or ptf on them and are they reusable

3/4-1/2" endfeed.

1/2 " the sort that fit on the bottom of the tap and have a sort of olive on them. im no pro but last time a recconected a tap i couldnt get it to stop leaking without putting ptf tape round the olive thingy

Standard copper tap connectors should only need a new fibre washer to make good seal. Speedfit or the like have rubber seal built in that should be watertight at hand tighten only

If the taps have 1/2" BSP thread then they will have fibre washers.
Before you make the connection, soak the washers in a little water, pop them in the fitting and nip up (dont over tighten). They leak when you crush the washer

And if you're out of daub you can use jointing compound to stick your wattle together forsooth.
