I know this probably gets asked a lot and I swear I've tried to Google it, but does anyone know how to get the tap heads off so I can fix the dripping please?

The tap head doesn't need to come off. The whole tap and valve unscrews from the tap body with a spanner.

I undid the nut but it's outside of the tap itself? Don't really know how best describe it so here is another photo !

Sorry ,got that wrong !! Didn't realise it was a shroud.
You need to unscrew the chrome bezel that surrounds the white cap. There should then be a screw below that you remove. The cross head will then pull up and off. Then unscrew the gland nut ( hexagonal head) ,and remove it. You can then remove the shroud and expose the valve.

Awesome thanks!

Though, HOW do I do that? I can't get enough purchase on it using my hands, would I use a grip wrench type thing with something under it to stop it from scratching the chrome? This kind of thing

Try pouring boiling hot water over it ,the expansion may loosen it up, protect the basin ,with a soaked wet towel, from the boiling water.
Pump pliers would be preferred ,with cloth protection. The type in your pic would do if jaws open wide enough.

a rubber strap wrench, called a "boa" or an "anaconda" is better.

If you have one on the shroud and one on the tap you can avoid twisting the tap.
