Hi,

My kitchen mono-block ceramic disc tap starts to drip and emit a high pitched wine when an upstairs tap is opened. It doesn't drip at any other time!

Can anyone suggest what may be going on?

Thanks in advance.
Richard.

Some sort of presence in the house, change the tap/s or cartridges if this dont cure it call in a local priest.

The only explanation I can think of for that is the disc is worn but held in a sealed position by the standing pressure in the main, open another tap the pressure drops a bit and bobs your uncle.
Change the tap.
