Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction here even if it's not the answer that I want
So I've bought a sink and a tap from different places... The sink supplier (Tikamoon), don't sell taps.
The plumber tells me (indirectly via the person coordinating our cellar conversion) that the tap isn't going to work with the sink and it's to do with the thread not projecting outside of the sink
I've linked two pictures, the one from underneath the sink is me holding the tap flush to the sink so you can see how it would look if it was being fitted.
I took this at face value at first and started going through the hassle of working out if it's a new tap I need or a new sink. Then I wondered if there might be another solution with some sort of extender. The plumber confirmed they do exist but that it's not going to work for some reason... The response came across as a bit dismissive... I must admit that plumbing is a DIY blindspot for me and I don't really understand the problem properly...
Before I admit defeat I'd really appreciate a second opinion.
Thanks for any advice you guys can provide
