Taping a weeping joint

Well it's a covered up now with pipe insulation, fibre blanket and boards.

Basically what he did was to get me to turn off the water and turn on all taps. He cut one arm of tee junction to drain residual water, and un-soldered the other two arms. He then put an extension onto where he cut the pipe and fitted the new tee junction into place and soldered up. I then turned on the taps and slowly turned the water on and stopped. It's okay shouted the plumber and I turned it on full.

It just looks like a well soldered tee junction now. It took an hour.

All's well that ends well.
