It's usual to find 1/2" BSP threads on standard sink and basin taps, and 3/4 BSP on bath taps.
Some modern bath fillers may have a 1/2" thread.
Monobloc taps may have smaller threads specific to the manufacturer in the valve body, but they are usually supplied with tails to match that fit standard pipe fittings.
