Can chunks of tarmac be used as hard core for a concrete slab flore

Don't see why not presuming you are going to compact it all anyway.

Providing the tarmac is spread out evenly and not in one area plus other compactable material.

We are i the initial process of building an extension and I have about 5 sql meters of the stuff to remove so it seemed a gould idear to reuse it as some of the hardcore base for the slab.
